About me

A woman standing in front of a large butterfly sculpture made of recycled metal and colorful objects, holding a black fan, smiling, with a temple background and a clear sky.

I am a Nigerian-American UX/UI Designer and Visual Artist. Located in Maryland, I have 5 years of experience in the UX field. Although my main role is a designer some of the other roles I have stepped into are: scrum master, business analyst, researcher, customer experience leader, workshop facilitator, and illustrator.

My design process, which is research, empathize, ideate, test, and iterate, allows me to understand my audience. When designing, I am passionate about making life easier for others. Life is hard enough; why make design and technology harder. My understanding of art principles such as color theory and layout composition allows for storytelling in my designs, giving others an enhanced experience. My goal is to inspire others through storytelling, accessibility by giving a voice to the voiceless, and creating visually appealing designs that give others a wonderful experience.

What I do when I'm not working

When I’m not designing I’m creating art. In my artworks, I like to highlight the beauty of Black women to inspire them and others to love themselves. My Nigerian heritage and African American culture also influence my art, which I call Afro-Unity. Afro-Unity is when the African diaspora connects and cultures unite through art and appreciation.
